Marc Beaussart
Practitioner on the 5* circuit, researcher on the equine back.
Marc Beaussart is a veterinary physiotherapist graduated from Anglia Ruskin University (United Kingdom) and University of Tennessee (United States). He has over twenty years of clinical practice, most of it alongside show jumping horses competing at 5* show jumping level. His work concentrates on spinal mobility: how the thoracolumbar region moves under saddle, what limits it, and what can be restored.
He is a PhD candidate at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU Writtle), where his research focuses on the kinematics of the back in horses with back pain and on the effects of electrotherapy, including radiofrequency. The clinical protocol and the research protocol read the same variables, which is deliberate.
He lectures internationally, with invited presentations at WEVA, ISES and UCVM, and delivers CPD for The Equine Documentalist, Onlinepethealth and Ridely. He is RAMP registered under No. 01070 and works in coordination with the treating veterinary surgeon on every pre-existing condition.
