What this site collects
Nothing is collected unless you send it. There is no account, no profiling and no advertising on this site.
- Contact form — name, email address, horse and discipline, and your message. Used only to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a service.
- Email — whatever you choose to write when you contact Marc directly.
- Analytics — only with your agreement, and never anything that identifies you personally. See below.
Retention: enquiries are kept for [retention period to define — 3 years after the last contact is a common answer], then deleted.
Where your data goes
The contact form is processed by [form provider — Formspree Inc., United States, or a handler on the OVH server]. Where a processor is based outside the UK or the EEA, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for advertising. Ever.
Analytics
This site can use Google Analytics 4 to count which pages are read. It is switched off by default: until you accept, Google Consent Mode blocks all analytics storage and only anonymous, cookieless signals are sent. IP addresses are anonymised.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which restores the default refusal.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies of its own. It stores exactly one value in your browser's local storage:
- epc-analytics-consent — records whether you accepted or declined analytics, so you are not asked on every page. It contains one word and no identifier.
Cookies appear only if you accept analytics, and are then set by Google, not by this site.
No third-party requests
The fonts are served from this domain, not from Google Fonts. There are no embedded videos, no social media pixels, no advertising networks and no external trackers. Before you accept analytics, your browser contacts no server other than this one.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, a restriction on how it is used, its portability, or object to its use. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Write to mjbeaussart@gmail.com. You will have an answer within one month.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom, or to the CNIL in France, [confirm which supervisory authority applies once the legal status is settled].
Changes
This page is updated whenever the site's handling of data changes.
